This course is designed for individuals who wish to develop their musical skills. The modern musician is not only capable of demonstrating a high degree of instrumental skill, they also need business skills and an entrepreneurial attitude to their creative art. Knowledge of the music industry, musicianship and aural awareness as well as communication skills all form the core learning in this course. Learners will gain the skill and competence to perform music in a variety of contexts as well as competence to organise and produce an event working independently and with others. In its annual report in 2017, IMRO described the professional musician as having “…a variety of skills… creative and musical, technical and business skills” and this course has been designed with this goal in mind. . We believe that you have as much to give us and we do to you so if you love music and you love to perform we would love to work with you.
